On Sunday afternoon, July 31, Little Sisters, residents, family, friends and benefactors were at McCoy Stadium for the 11th Annual Little Sisters of the Poor Paw Sox Family Fun Day. It truly was a day of enjoyment for all. The event began at 11 a.m. with a delicious BBQ and time to enjoy family and friends.
Then all proceeded to their seats for the National Anthem and the game between the Paw Sox beat Scranton Wilkes-Barre Rail Riders 4-0. Our Pawtucket native Sr. Patrice threw out the first pitch. Wow! What an arm!
During the 7th Inning Stretch all enjoyed Sr. Elizabeth Ann’s rendition of God bless America! After the game all were invited to run the bases. Mother Mercy and several Little Sisters even ran the bases twice. Once again, this event was a great We are so grateful to the Paw Sox organization for making this event possible.
