Fun Times at the Home!

On Wednesday, February 5^th,  our Residents enjoyed a “Winter Brunch” Buffet.  The special Brunch Buffet was originally done only at Easter and Thanksgiving time, but our Residents enjoy the meal so much that we now do it every other month. Special items like Irish scones, deviled eggs, corned beef hash, homemade baked French toast and sweet and sour kielbasa were just some of the delicious items at the buffet. Of course the topic of conversation at mealtime is still our championship team, the New England Patriots and their exciting finish at Super Bowl XLIX (49). 

This past Sunday, February 1^st,  our Residents enjoyed a Super Bowl Party. There were appetizers, snacks and pizza. Everyone enjoyed the game around the large screen TV in the main dining room. No one could have predicted the outcome, or thought the game would end the way it did. It must have been because one of our Residents, John, was saying the Our Father Prayer during the entire 4^th quarter. Way to go Patriots!!!!
