Fond Farewell
In early September, a simple and lovely retirement party was planned for Dolores Morelli, our Residents’ Hairdresser. Dolores worked in our Beauty Shop for over thirty years making sure the ladies and gentlemen always looked their best. During many summers Dolores invited us to her home for a cook-out which sometimes began with Mass. At the party we shared stories, fun times, and some tears. The Residents presented Dolores with flowers and cards and a “Special Blessing” was invoked by Bishop Boland. We enjoyed homemade cupcakes baked by her friends here. It was a beautiful tribute to a “Beautiful Lady!” Thank you for everything, Dolores!
