An Irish Christmas: A Holiday Concert featuring The Lindsays

  • December 3, 2017

What a beautiful way to welcome the Christmas Season!

The Lindsays – a musical trio that honors the Irish folk tradition through a mix of contemporary songs, old ballads, and Irish traditional jigs and reels, visited our Home on Sunday, December 3.

Vocalist, guitarist, and Dublin native, Stephen Lindsay accompanied by Susan Lindsay on sax, Irish flute, and whistle, and Ted Mello on upright bass, entertained Residents and guests with the most beautiful Christmas songs and ballads that were straight from the Emerald Isle.

The auditorium was overflowing with Residents and guests, especially Shirley Mello, the proud mother of bass player Ted. It was a very special way to spend a Sunday afternoon during the magical season of Christmas!

As they say in Ireland “a little bit of heaven fell upon us this day.”
