Lord, it is good that we are here.
Matthew 17: 1-5
On the Feast of the Transfiguration, we celebrated Mass in our Chapel. This marked the first Mass together as a family since early March.
We are so very grateful to Father McLaughlin who traveled to our Home to celebrate the Mass for us. What a joy it was to see our pews full again, our Residents in their familiar places, in accordance with social distancing guidelines. How wonderful it was to hear Sister Angela’s beautiful voice, in a perfect cadence, as she once again read aloud Prayer of the Faithful and to see Janice resume her faithful role as Eucharistic Minister.
We look forward to a time when we can welcome visitors to join us in prayer again, in Thanksgiving to God for our many blessings, especially the gift of the Mass.
At that time, you will be delighted to see Sister Elizabeth Anne who has returned to our Home in Pawtucket by way of Jeanne Jugan Residence in Somerville, MA. We expect that Sister will feel right at home, especially at the organ, leading us in song, giving glory and praise to God.
Lord, it is indeed, good for all of us to be here.
