The Jeanne Jugan Residence hosted its’ first Country Western Day on Saturday, May 21. The kitchen/dining staff provided an authentic “chow line” complete with baked beans, cole slaw, chicken and corn on the cob.
Following dinner, our Residents “moseyed on over” to the auditorium for a good ole fashioned Barn Dance. The room was appropriately decorated with hay bales, horseshoes checkered tablecloths and even a real horse’s saddle. Live musical entertainment was provided as residents danced and swayed to many old time country tunes while sipping lemonade and “moonshine” punch.
