A Chapel in the Garden
You may remember the beautiful gift for our home a handcrafted birdhouse in the form of a Chapel, from our good friends, Don and Joan.
With the help of their daughter, Kim, our Social Services Director, and her husband, the birdhouse is now installed and ready to welcome our feathered friends. The delicate detail including the steeple borrowed from rosary beads and a miniature statue of St. Anne and the Virgin Mary as a child near the entrance, it is as intricate as it is charming.
Located outside the main dining room, our Residents are enjoying “Birds Eye View!” Adding to the beauty of the backyard patio is a collection of five green window boxes affixed to the wrought iron fence. Handcrafted by Tom Murray as a gift to us, summer seeds have been planted and the perimeter of the patio will soon be in full bloom.
Thank you, once again, Don, Joan, Kimberly, Deric, and Tom (may you Rest in Peace) for creating a beautiful, serene, and welcoming space for our Residents to enjoy.
